To make a classic South Asian chai masala brewed with milk (about 4 servings):

  • 4-5 tsp Chai Black Tea
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 tbsp. honey
  1. Put the water and the tea in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer for 4 minutes.
  2. Stir in milk and honey, and as soon as it's heated through, turn off heat.
  3. Strain out tea leaves through a sieve. Serve hot or pour over ice.
